As if we aren’t used to it this season, the Brewers are undergoing some more roster changes this weekend (and as I type).
Good news, Marco Estrada is set to be activated and back to pitching on Tuesday’s game against Cincinnati. Bad news, Mike McClendon has been sent up (who I am assuming is to take over for Shaun Marcum who just might have to be on the DL for a while himself).
In addition, Travis Ishikawa and Cesar Izturis are set to be activated tonight. Edwin Maysonet will be optioned.
And for those wondering about Jonathan Lucroy, on Wednesday he had his pin and cast taken out/off. He is set to begin his rehab assignment very shortly. We may see him in the next coming weeks.
Oh, and the Brewers recently signed RHP Livan Hernandez, formerly with the Atlanta Braves. Speculation is that he’ll be an addition the the bullpen relief.
